Subject: Importance of Physical Education & Need for a Sports University

Sir/Madam,

Through your esteemed newspaper, I wish to highlight the importance of physical education in a student’s life. Today, academic pressure often overshadows sports, even though games develop discipline, teamwork, leadership and mental strength. Regular physical activity improves concentration, reduces stress and builds confidence among students.

However, many talented students fail to pursue their favourite sport due to lack of proper guidance and career opportunities. Therefore, I strongly suggest the establishment of a dedicated Sports University in our country. Such an institution would provide professional coaching, scientific training and academic flexibility, allowing students to build a secure career in sports.

Sports should not be treated as a hobby but as a respected profession.
